Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is urging people to take part in a survey to back small businesses in Wales.
Mr Rowlands, a keen supporter of encouraging people to shop local said:
“For many years I have been a great supporter of Small Business Saturday which was held this year on December 7 and unfortunately coincided with Storm Darragh, causing major disruption across the country.
“I do hope however, that my constituents will support small businesses and shop locally in the run up to Christmas.
“It is absolutely vital that people support local business to help them thrive and buy locally sourced food and other products from their community.”
The Welsh Conservatives have launched a Small Business Saturday Survey to promote the benefits of small businesses and to encourage people to shop locally.
Micro and small businesses are the lifeblood of communities across Wales with around 245,000 micro and small businesses employing over 500,000 people.
They want to hear how they can best support local Welsh businesses by taking part in the Small Business Saturday Survey.
Sam Rowlands AS yn gofyn i etholwyr ddweud eu dweud ar Ddydd Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach
Mae Sam Rowlands, Aelod o’r Senedd dros Ogledd Cymru, yn annog pobl i gymryd rhan mewn arolwg i gefnogi busnesau bach yng Nghymru.
Meddai Mr Rowlands, cefnogwr brwd annog pobl i siopa'n lleol:
Ers blynyddoedd lawer, rwyf wedi bod yn gefnogwr brwd Dydd Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach a gynhaliwyd eleni ar 7 Rhagfyr – yr un penwythnos â Storm Darragh yn anffodus, a achosodd drafferthion mawr ledled y wlad.
Rwy'n gobeithio, fodd bynnag, y bydd fy etholwyr yn cefnogi busnesau bach ac yn siopa'n lleol yn y cyfnod cyn y Nadolig.
Mae'n gwbl hanfodol bod pobl yn cefnogi busnesau lleol i'w helpu i ffynnu a phrynu bwyd o ffynonellau lleol a chynnyrch eraill o'u cymuned.
Mae'r Ceidwadwyr Cymreig wedi lansio Arolwg Dydd Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach i hyrwyddo manteision busnesau bach ac i annog pobl i siopa'n lleol.
Microfusnesau a busnesau bach yw asgwrn cefn cymunedau ledled Cymru gyda thua 245,000 o ficrofusnesau a busnesau bach yn cyflogi dros 500,000 o bobl.
Maen nhw eisiau clywed sut gallan nhw gefnogi busnesau lleol Cymru orau trwy gymryd rhan yn Arolwg Dydd Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach.
