Sam Rowlands, Member of Welsh Parliament and Shadow Minister for Local Government, is urging people to apply for funding to improve their areas in the county.
He said:
It is great to see money being made available to help improve open spaces and play areas across Denbighshire and I would be urging those eligible to apply asap.
Thanks to private developers £100,000 of funding is now on offer to individuals, including community and voluntary groups across the county.
Anyone interested in applying needs to contact Denbighshire County Council who are administering the fund.
The funds can be used to lay out new open space or can be used to enhance existing provision, thereby increasing usage.

Sam Rowlands AS yn tynnu sylw at arian ychwanegol sydd ar gael i wella mannau agored a mannau chwarae yn Sir Ddinbych
Mae Sam Rowlands, Aelod o’r Senedd a Gweinidog Llywodraeth Leol yr Wrthblaid, yn annog pobl i wneud cais am arian i wella'u hardaloedd yn y sir.
Meddai:
Mae'n wych gweld arian ar gael i helpu i wella mannau agored a mannau chwarae ar draws Sir Ddinbych a byddwn yn annog y rhai sy'n gymwys i wneud cais cyn gynted â phosibl.
Diolch i ddatblygwyr preifat, mae £100,000 o gyllid nawr ar gael i unigolion, gan gynnwys grwpiau cymunedol a gwirfoddol ar draws y sir.
Mae angen i unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb mewn gwneud cais gysylltu â Chyngor Sir Ddinbych sy'n gweinyddu'r gronfa.
Gellir defnyddio'r arian i greu gofod agored newydd neu gellir ei ddefnyddio i wella'r ddarpariaeth bresennol, a thrwy hynny gynyddu'r defnydd.
I weld a oes cyllid ar gael i'ch ardal chi, ewch i:
