Sam Rowlands MS for North Wales sponsored a drop-in event with the National House Building Council.
Mr Rowlands, Shadow Minister for Local Government, welcomed members of the NHBC to the Senedd and invited fellow members to the session.
He said:
It was great to be able to sponsor this event and give members the opportunity to discuss the current state of housing in Wales with the NHBC.
The NHBC is the UK’s leading independent provider of warranty and insurance for new homes and it was good to be able to talk to them about the many issues we face here in Wales, such as affordable housing, the challenges for consumer quality and the need to build more high-quality homes.
I would like to thank representatives for their time and fellow members for supporting the event.

Fe wnaeth Sam Rowlands, Aelod Rhanbarthol o’r Senedd dros Ogledd Cymru, noddi digwyddiad galw heibio gyda'r National House Building Council (NHBC).
Croesawodd Mr Rowlands, Gweinidog yr Wrthblaid dros Lywodraeth Leol, aelodau'r NHBC i'r Senedd, ac estynnwyd gwahoddiad i'r cyd-aelodau hefyd.
Meddai:
Roedd hi'n wych gallu noddi'r digwyddiad hwn a rhoi cyfle i'r aelodau drafod y sefyllfa dai yng Nghymru gyda'r NHBC.
NHBC yw prif ddarparwr annibynnol gwarant ac yswiriant ar gyfer cartrefi newydd yn y DU ac roedd hi'n braf siarad â nhw am y materion niferus sy'n ein hwynebu yma yng Nghymru, megis tai fforddiadwy, yr heriau o ran ansawdd i ddefnyddwyr a'r angen i godi mwy o gartrefi o'r radd flaenaf.
