Sam Rowlands MS for North Wales is backing a campaign to encourage people to support and promote local businesses.
Mr Rowlands, Welsh Conservative and member of Welsh Parliament is urging communities in Gwynedd to nominate a local business as part of Gwynedd County Council's Economy and Community Department’s Buy Local Campaign.
He said:
I am a great supporter of buying local and back any moves to encourage communities to do the same. It is vital our town centres are given the support they need as we continue to recover from the pandemic.
These days more than ever it is important to remember our local shops and stores and make sure we use them.
Whether it be a shop, café, garage, attraction or any other business they all deserve our support. I would also encourage local businesses themselves to take part in the campaign.
Businesses will have the opportunity to have a place on the campaign's digital platforms and be promoted on Buy Local's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
They will also receive the campaign's “Open / Closed” sign and stickers to display in their business.
To nominate a local business, or if you run a business and would like to receive goods and benefit from a promotional boost, contact the Buy Local team directly by email [email protected] or tag and share with Buy Local Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Sam Rowlands AS yn cefnogi Ymgyrch Prynu’n Lleol yng Ngwynedd
Mae Sam Rowlands, yr AS dros Ogledd Cymru, yn cefnogi ymgyrch i annog pobl i gefnogi a hyrwyddo busnesau lleol.
Mae Mr Rowlands, Ceidwadwr Cymreig ac Aelod o’r Senedd yn annog cymunedau yng Ngwynedd i enwebu busnes lleol fel rhan o Ymgyrch Prynu’n Lleol Adran yr Economi a Chymuned Cyngor Sir Gwynedd.
Meddai:
Rwy’n frwd iawn o blaid prynu’n lleol ac yn cefnogi unrhyw ymdrechion i annog cymunedau i wneud yr un fath. Mae’n hanfodol bod canol ein trefi yn cael y gefnogaeth sydd ei hangen arnyn nhw i ddal ati i adfer ar ôl y pandemig.
Ar hyn o bryd, mae’n bwysicach nag erioed cofio ein siopau a’n gwasanaethau lleol a sicrhau ein bod yn eu defnyddio.
Boed yn siop, caffi, garej, atyniad neu unrhyw fusnes arall, maen nhw i gyd yn haeddu ein cefnogaeth. Byddwn hefyd yn annog y busnesau lleol eu hunain i gymryd rhan yn yr ymgyrch.
Bydd gan fusnesau’r cyfle i gael lle ar blatfformau digidol yr ymgyrch a chael eu hyrwyddo ar gyfrifon Facebook, Twitter ac Instagram, Prynu’n Lleol.
Byddant hefyd yn derbyn arwydd “Ar Agor/ Wedi Cau” a sticeri’r ymgyrch i’w harddangos yn eu busnes.
I enwebu’ch busnes lleol, neu os ydych chi’n rhedeg busnes ac am dderbyn nwyddau a manteisio ar hwb hyrwyddo, cysylltwch â’r tîm Prynu’n Lleol drwy ebostio [email protected] neu tagiwch a rhannwch gyda Prynu’n Lleol ar Facebook, Twitter neu Instagram.
