Sam Rowlands MS for North Wales is backing a council initiative to give entrepreneurs a head start.
Mr Rowlands, Shadow Minister for Local Government, is urging residents to attend free events in Rhyl, next month, to get more advice.
He said:
I am delighted to see funding from the UK Government, through the Community Renewal Fund, being used to offer workshops for budding entrepreneurs. This is exactly what the money from this fund should be used for.
I think it is really important to make sure everyone is given the opportunity, whether unemployed or not, to be supported if considering starting their own business.
It is good to see Denbighshire County Council holding these workshops and I would urge any budding entrepreneurs to attend.
The free events will offer guidance for residents who are thinking about starting up a business in the county.
The Economic Empowerment project will provide support to residents who are looking at starting something new, by providing advice and guidance about the industry and how to utilize the skills they already have.
The event will be held at Costigans Co Working Hub which has recently been regenerated by Denbighshire County Council as part of the wider Rhyl regeneration programme.
Guest speakers will be in attendance at the event to share their success stories and provide tips about how they got where they are now.
Two sessions are being run over the course of two days on Wednesday July 6 and 13 from 2.30pm to 4:30pm and from 5.30pm to 7.30pm
It is essential that you sign up before the event via - https://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/en/jobs-and-employees/forms/exploring-enterprise-workshop-signup.aspx . Any questions email [email protected] for more information.
Sam Rowlands AS yn cefnogi cynlluniau sy'n helpu pobl i gychwyn busnes eu hunain yn Sir Ddinbych
Mae Sam Rowlands, yr Aelod o'r Senedd dros Ranbarth y Gogledd, yn cefnogi menter y cyngor sy'n rhoi hwb i entrepreneuriaid.
Mae Mr Rowlands, Gweinidog yr Wrthblaid dros Lywodraeth Leol, yn annog trigolion i fynychu digwyddiadau am ddim yn y Rhyl, fis nesaf, i gael mwy o gyngor.
Meddai:
Rwy'n falch iawn o weld cyllid gan Lywodraeth y DU, drwy'r Gronfa Adfywio Cymunedol, yn cael ei ddefnyddio i gynnig gweithdai i ddarpar entrepreneuriaid. Dyma'r union beth y dylid defnyddio'r arian o'r gronfa hon ar ei gyfer.
Rwy'n credu ei bod yn bwysig iawn sicrhau bod pawb yn cael y cyfle, boed yn ddi-waith ai peidio, i gael cymorth os ydyn nhw'n meddwl cychwyn eu busnes eu hunain.
Mae'n dda gweld Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn cynnal y gweithdai hyn a byddwn yn annog unrhyw ddarpar entrepreneuriaid i fachu ar y cyfle.
Bydd y digwyddiadau rhad ac am ddim yn cynnig arweiniad i drigolion sy'n ystyried cychwyn busnes yn y sir.
Bydd y prosiect Grymuso Economaidd yn rhoi cymorth i drigolion sy'n ystyried dechrau rhywbeth newydd, drwy roi cyngor ac arweiniad am y diwydiant a sut i ddefnyddio'r sgiliau sydd ganddyn nhw'n barod.
Cynhelir y digwyddiad yn Hwb Cydweithio Costigans, sydd wedi cael ei adfywio'n ddiweddar gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych fel rhan o raglen adfywio ehangach y Rhyl.
Bydd siaradwyr gwadd wrth law i rannu eu straeon a chyngor ar sut i efelychu eu llwyddiant.
Cynhelir dwy sesiwn dros ddau ddiwrnod, y naill ddydd Mercher 6 Gorffennaf a'r llall ddydd Mercher 13 Gorffennaf rhwng 2.30pm a 4:30pm ac o 5.30pm i 7.30pm
Mae'n hollbwysig cofrestru cyn y digwyddiad drwy - https://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/cy/swyddi-a-gweithwyr/ffurflenni/edrych-ar-fenter-cofrestru-ar-gyfer-gweithdy.aspx . Os oes gennych unrhyw gwestiynau, e-bostiwch [email protected] am fwy o fanylion.
