Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is urging residents to share their crime concerns in a survey.
Mr Rowlands is calling on people to support the Flintshire North Neighbourhood Policing Team who have launched a public survey aimed at gathering community feedback on local crime and safety concerns.
Mr Rowlands said:
I am a great supporter of asking local people what issues matter to them in their communities and to voice their concerns.
We all know that North Wales is one of the safest places to live, work and visit and I always welcome any measures which will help to keep it that way.
Crime and disorder is not something we want to see on our streets and I encourage everyone to take part in the survey.
The short survey is part of an ongoing initiative called ‘North Wales Talking’ and asks residents what issues matter most to them in North Flintshire.
Flintshire North Inspector Wes Williams says the survey will help them better understand the crime and disorder concerns of their local communities.
He said he was keen to give people the opportunity to make sure Neighbourhood Policing teams were focusing on what matters to local residents.
He said:
Could you support me by taking a few minutes to complete our short survey about what it is like to live in your area and what issues matter most to you and your community. It is also an opportunity for you to raise any concerns you may have. The survey will be running until December 1 2024.

Sam Rowlands AS yn cefnogi menter i nodi blaenoriaethau troseddu allweddol yng Ngogledd Sir y Fflint
Mae Sam Rowlands, yr Aelod o’r Senedd dros y Gogledd, yn annog trigolion i rannu eu pryderon am droseddu mewn arolwg.
Mae Mr Rowlands yn galw ar bobl i gefnogi Tîm Plismona Bro Gogledd Sir y Fflint sydd wedi lansio arolwg cyhoeddus gyda'r nod o gasglu adborth cymunedol ar bryderon troseddu a diogelwch lleol.
Meddai Mr Rowlands:
Rwy'n gredwr cryf mewn gofyn i bobl leol pa faterion sy'n bwysig iddyn nhw yn eu cymunedau a’u bod yn cael y cyfle i leisio’u pryderon.
Rydyn ni i gyd yn gwybod mai’r Gogledd yw un o'r llefydd mwyaf diogel i fyw, gweithio ac ymweld ag ef ac rydw i bob amser yn croesawu unrhyw fesurau a fydd yn helpu i gadw pethau felly.
Dydy trosedd ac anhrefn ddim yn bethau rydyn ni am eu gweld ar ein strydoedd ac rwy'n annog pawb i gymryd rhan yn yr arolwg.
Mae'r arolwg byr yn rhan o fenter barhaus o'r enw 'Gogledd Cymru’n Siarad' sy’n gofyn i drigolion pa faterion sydd bwysicaf iddyn nhw yng Ngogledd Sir y Fflint.
Dywed Arolygydd Gogledd Sir y Fflint, Wes Williams, y bydd yr arolwg yn eu helpu i ddeall pryderon trosedd ac anhrefn eu cymunedau lleol yn well.
Dywedodd ei fod yn awyddus i roi cyfle i bobl sicrhau bod timau Plismona Bro yn canolbwyntio ar yr hyn sy'n bwysig i drigolion lleol.
Meddai:
A allech fy nghefnogi drwy dreulio ychydig funudau yn cwblhau ein harolwg byr am sut beth yw byw yn eich ardal chi a pha faterion sydd bwysicaf i chi a'ch cymuned. Mae hefyd yn gyfle i chi rannu unrhyw bryderon sydd gennych. Bydd yr arolwg ar agor tan 1 Rhagfyr 2024.
