COVID-19 has understandably seen many young children taking time out of the classroom and learning from home. Children in Wales have spent more time out of the classroom than their counterparts in other parts of the UK, and this may have had an impact on their development. Sam asked the government was assessment they had made of the impact of this time out of the classroom on young children’s oracy.

Mae COVID-19 wedi golygu bod llawer o blant ifanc wedi gorfod treulio amser allan o'r ystafell ddosbarth ac yn dysgu gartref. Mae plant yng Nghymru wedi treulio mwy o amser allan o'r ystafell ddosbarth na'u cyfoedion mewn rhannau eraill o'r DU, ac efallai fod hyn wedi cael effaith ar eu datblygiad. Gofynnodd Sam i'r llywodraeth pa asesiad y maent wedi’i gynnal o effaith y cyfnod hwn allan o'r ystafell ddosbarth ar lafaredd plant ifanc.
