Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is calling on constituents to have their say on library services in Wrexham.
Wrexham County Borough Council is inviting the public to take part in a survey to find out how important the library and its services are for them.
Mr Rowlands, a keen supporter of encouraging everyone to make use of their local libraries said:
I am pleased to see Wrexham council engaging with the public to find out what they think about services in their community.
It is only right and proper that residents should have their say and the opportunity to give their views on things which directly involve them.
I would urge anyone who has any comments to make to ensure they take part in the survey which is open until Monday June 10.
The council is keen to hear views on what they do best and what they we might do better with answers helping them to understand the needs and wishes of existing customers and potential users. All answers are voluntary and anonymous.
Cllr Beverley Parry Jones, Lead Member for Corporate Services, said, “Our libraries and the services they provide are extremely important to us all. A whole range of inclusive activities and services free of charge are available to people of all ages income level, location, ethnicity and physical ability.”
Consultation ends June 10 2024. Take part in the survey here.
Sam Rowlands AS yn annog trigolion i rannu barn ar wasanaethau llyfrgell
Mae Sam Rowlands, yr Aelod o’r Senedd dros Ogledd Cymru, yn galw ar etholwyr i ddweud eu dweud ar wasanaethau llyfrgell Wrecsam.
Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn gwahodd y cyhoedd i gymryd rhan mewn arolwg i weld pa mor bwysig yw'r llyfrgell a'i gwasanaethau iddyn nhw.
Dywedodd Mr Rowlands, sy'n gefnogwr brwd o annog pawb i ddefnyddio eu llyfrgelloedd lleol:
Rwy'n falch o weld cyngor Wrecsam yn ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd i ganfod eu barn am wasanaethau yn eu cymuned.
Mae ond yn iawn ac yn briodol i drigolion gael cyfle i ddweud eu dweud am bethau sy'n ymwneud yn uniongyrchol â nhw.
Byddwn yn annog unrhyw un sydd ag unrhyw sylwadau i'w gwneud i sicrhau eu bod nhw'n cymryd rhan yn yr arolwg sydd ar agor tan ddydd Llun 10 Mehefin.
Mae'r cyngor yn awyddus i glywed beth maen nhw'n ei wneud orau a beth allen nhw ei wneud yn well, gyda'r atebion yn eu helpu i ddeall anghenion a dymuniadau cwsmeriaid presennol a darpar ddefnyddwyr. Mae'r atebion i gyd yn wirfoddol ac yn ddienw.
Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Beverley Parry Jones, Aelod Arweiniol Gwasanaethau Corfforaethol, "Mae ein llyfrgelloedd a'r gwasanaethau maen nhw'n eu darparu yn hollbwysig i bob un ohonom. Mae ystod eang o weithgareddau a gwasanaethau cynhwysol am ddim ar gael i bobl o bob oed, lefel incwm, lleoliad, ethnigrwydd a gallu corfforol.”
Daw'r ymgynghoriad i ben ar 10 Mehefin 2024. Cymerwch ran yn yr arolwg yma.
