Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, welcomes moves to highlight unpaid carers in his region.
Mr Rowlands, who has raised this issue several times in Welsh Parliament said:
I am delighted to see more of these roadshows taking place in Wrexham, as these people are the unsung heroes and step in to help and receive little or no support.
They save the NHS and taxpayers billions of pounds a year by providing this important care and I am always happy to highlight and raise awareness of the work these unpaid carers carry out.
Last month NEWCIS held their first ever roadshows in Wrexham and following their success more are planned over the next couple of weeks.
They aim to reach as many people as possible in the area, promoting the services that the organisation has to offer to unpaid carers as well as highlighting the information, support and respite options that are available.
NEWCIS, is one of the largest providers of carer services in Wales, provides timely information, one to one support, respite, financial support, training, social events, counselling and more to unpaid carers in North East Wales.
The next roadshows will be held on July 12, 10am – 12.30pm, Rhos Library; July 21, 10.30am – 1pm, Canolfan Ceiriog; July 24, 2pm – 4pm, Overton Village Hall; July 25, 11am – 1pm, Oliver Jones Memorial Hall; July 27, 9am – 12pm, George Edwards Hall, Cefn Mawr; and July 28, 10.45am – 11.45am, Golden Lion, Rossett.
Remember, if you would like advice, help or information you can always contact NEWCIS or visit the NEWCIS website.

Mae Sam Rowlands, Aelod o’r Senedd dros Ogledd Cymru, yn croesawu camau i dynnu sylw at ofalwyr di-dâl yn ei ranbarth.
Meddai Mr Rowlands, sydd wedi codi'r mater sawl gwaith yn y Senedd:
Rwy'n falch iawn o weld mwy o'r sioeau teithiol hyn yn cael eu cynnal yn Wrecsam, gan mai'r bobl hyn yw'r arwyr di-glod sy’n camu i’r adwy i helpu heb gael fawr ddim cefnogaeth, os o gwbl.
Maen nhw'n arbed biliynau o bunnoedd y flwyddyn i'r GIG a'r trethdalwyr drwy ddarparu'r gofal pwysig hwn ac rwyf bob amser yn hapus i dynnu sylw at y gwaith y mae'r gofalwyr di-dâl hyn yn ei wneud.
Fis diwethaf cynhaliodd NEWCIS eu sioeau teithiol cyntaf erioed yn Wrecsam ac yn dilyn eu llwyddiant mae mwy ar y gweill dros yr wythnosau nesaf.
Eu nod yw cyrraedd cynifer o bobl â phosibl yn yr ardal, gan hyrwyddo'r gwasanaethau sydd gan y sefydliad i'w cynnig i ofalwyr di-dâl yn ogystal â thynnu sylw at yr opsiynau gwybodaeth, cymorth a seibiant sydd ar gael.
NEWCIS yw un o'r darparwyr gwasanaethau gofalwyr mwyaf yng Nghymru, mae'n darparu gwybodaeth amserol, cefnogaeth un i un, seibiant, cymorth ariannol, hyfforddiant, digwyddiadau cymdeithasol, cwnsela a mwy i ofalwyr di-dâl yng Ngogledd-ddwyrain Cymru.
Cynhelir y sioeau teithiol nesaf ar 12 Gorffennaf, 10am – 12.30pm, Llyfrgell Rhos; 21 Gorffennaf, 10.30am – 1pm, Canolfan Ceiriog; 24 Gorffennaf, 2pm – 4pm, Neuadd Bentref Owrtyn; 25 Gorffennaf, 11am – 1pm, Neuadd Goffa Oliver Jones; 27 Gorffennaf, 9am – 12pm, Neuadd George Edwards, Cefn Mawr; a 28 Gorffennaf, 10.45am – 11.45am, Golden Lion, Yr Orsedd.
